Final version
Art made by order of a dear friend, Waldemar. He wanted something that resembled a tattoo, because that's what this design would become, and an art that had the urban atmosphere of the city of São Paulo, in addition to that energy that only Skateboarding could provide.
He sent some photos of Skateboard maneuver he did himself.
As it is an art made for tattoos, I chose a background with skin color. A tone that I usually use to color my characters' skin, because I believe that our skin tones are very similar. However, I used only black, white and grayscale to color all the art. I started with the main character, who was the Skater.
This was one of the most pleasurable arts to make, because in addition to having been commissioned by someone who values my work, I also sampled the urban culture of our city with a sport that has a lot to do with São Paulo.
