Yes! I dared to bring the strongest Sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, to my territory, the city of São Paulo. He wasn't even bothered or apprehensive about this complete change of territory and culture. Not at all! Just look at the confident smile he carries.
I was so happy that Gojo was around that I wanted to highlight him since he steals the scene, as always, even though he's not the protagonist of the story. That's why I decided to feature Satoru Gojo on the cover of Chapter 5 of the Fanfic because he was the true star of the story.
But, to do that, it took a long search for references. I wanted one that showed him from bottom to top, placing us at his feet, which is our place. At first, I wanted him walking towards the reader; I even found some references like that (which I used, by the way), but nothing quite matched what I had in my imagination. However, when I saw this photo with this handsome guy (model) with his majestic walk, I saw Gojo in it. It was him there. So, I got a very good reference.

Drawing Satoru Gojo's face always makes me a bit apprehensive because his beauty is intimidating, but still, I continued, and slowly, each part of his little face came to life. The most challenging part was the band covering his eyes and the hair. I fell in love with the result.

Satoru's Face
I designed the character based on the official one from the second season. The eyes were covered by white bands because the story takes place in 2017.

Then, the construction of the background. Gege Akutami (author of Jujutsu Kaisen) always shows Tokyo and other Japanese cities in his work. Inspired by Gege, I wanted to reproduce that in my Fanfic and show a bit of the place where the story takes place, that is, the city of São Paulo.
And look, I chose one of the most emblematic places in the old downtown of SP, the Copan Building. The intention was to let it be understood, more or less, that it was in that building that Dandara lived. The result was wonderful.

But how did I do the background?
First, I looked for photos of downtown São Paulo that had been taken roughly at the same angle as the model's photo. And it was on Pinterest that I found this beautiful photograph. The source is the blog De Postales Urbanas, the blog of a person passionate about São Paulo and Buenos Aires. This photo was perfect for the project, except for some small details. For example, the photo was taken during the day and still had some people who spoiled the landscape.
I used the new artificial intelligence feature of Adobe Photoshop to erase the unwanted people. It wasn't perfect, but, as I intended to darken the photo, some shadows would be enough to hide these small errors.
After that, I used the filter gallery of PS to turn the photo into something that looked like a drawing. To darken the image, I created a layer with a solid color and chose a dark color, then used the blending mode (Multiply) and reduced the opacity.
But there were still some details to make the cover perfect. For example, Satoru Gojo had to be the main star of Jujutsu Kaisen in this art, but not the only one. Notice that we have our dear secretary right behind him, Ijichi Kiyotaka is part of the Fanfic. He came along with the strongest sorcerer to deal with bureaucratic situations and help with the installation of the new Jujutsu school in São Paulo.

Ijichi Kiyotaka
It was easy to add him to the art, as it is a PNG image with a transparent background, just like the black car on the other side of the street. The military vehicle is from SP; I got the image from the São Paulo Military Police website and cropped it.
The rain is also a PNG image that I downloaded from PNGWing, just like the droplets around the sensei.

The result is this beautiful thing here. I warned that he was in São Paulo. It's a great honor to have the Jujutsu School along with its strongest sorcerer in my city. I am very happy.
