The Tokyo Technical Jujutsu School was summoned to a remote meeting with Brazilian authorities. The agenda was the execution of an alleged dangerous sorceress. After analysis, the high-ranking officials of Jujutsu in Japan agreed to the execution of the woman, as the threat could become international and needed an immediate solution.
Given the emergency nature, the strongest sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, was dispatched to Brazil. His task was to locate, interrogate, and execute the sorceress.
Entry: May 1, 2017
Satoru Gojo found the sorceress in the heart of São Paulo's capital, on top of the Mackenzie Building, hours after the collapse of the Wilson Paes de Almeida Building in Paissandú Square.
After being captured, Dandara Majo was taken for interrogation.

The rain had weakened as I walked. So had the adrenaline, as the wounds became unbearable. I had no clue how to ease the pain, but I used my energy to stop the bleeding. All I wanted was to reach that tiny, rundown place I called home... and my office.
As I got closer to the building I lived in, I noticed the red lights flashing. In addition to a few police cars parked nearby, there was also a sinister black vehicle.
"Darn it! Are the cops already hunting me down?" I thought.
I slowed down to avoid raising suspicion and, walking at a snail's pace, I surveyed the area. Near the black car were two men: one short, around 40 years old, holding an umbrella and a cell phone. The other, all dressed in black, had his hands in his pockets, looking nonchalant. He was tall, with spiky white hair and bandages covering his eyes. He seemed to have noticed my presence as he turned in my direction. But his eyes were covered, and I was at a certain distance, I doubted he had really spotted me. Thus, I decided to slow down even more and change my direction soon. But before I could do that, he raised his hand and made a gesture as if he wanted to get my attention.
The energy of that guy was off the charts; I'd never felt anything like it before. He put his hand back in his pocket and walked toward me.
"Damn!"
I had no clue who he was, but I knew he was trouble, especially with the cops around. Maybe this latest situation had gone too far. Maybe it was time for someone to try to stop me. And it wasn't just the authorities who wanted that. My life was in danger. Again!
I turned and walked briskly without looking back for a while. Then I turned my head to check; he continued to follow me, but still with composure.
I don't know why, but Alex's sacrifice came to mind, and that was enough to motivate me.
"But it won't be today!"
I guess I drew strength from my “ass” to still alive because I was, and I wouldn't waste that. So, I simply started running. I sprinted as fast as I could and entered the streets and alleys. I knew that place and how to disappear, even with the low activity at that hour, that was my territory.
I glanced back while running. He was no longer on my tail.
"I made it!"
But when I turned my face forward again, there he was, calm as if he hadn't lifted a finger to get there. I skidded on the wet ground and ended on the ground in front of him. I couldn't be in more trouble.
"What the heck?"
I got up in a hurry, skidding on the historic pavement, I managed to escape once again. The stabs of pain begged me to stop, but my legs didn't give a darn. I turned right, then left, then left again, and right. There was no way he could find me. I'm fast when I want to be. Despite my injuries, I could use my energy to strengthen my muscles and increase my speed.

"It can't be!" I widened my eyes.
I reached the República region, and there he was.
"It wasn't possible!" I thought.
I dodged the blindfolded man, went down the subway station stairs and jumped over the turnstile. I ran towards the train that was already on the platform. I looked back. The man was walking towards me calmly. He seemed a bit confused maybe. But no matter what I did, he managed to catch up with me.
I entered in front of the train before it departed and ran along the tracks. Quickly reached the other station, so I climbed onto the platform and ran to the stairs.
I shouted as I left the station. The scream startled the few people there.
The blindfolded man was there! He was waiting for me near the gate, arms crossed, leaning in a relaxed pose while smirking. The monstrous energy.
"This fucking guy just teleported?!" I asked myself.
I realized there was no way to escape. I had no choice but to fight. Still, there was no chance of defeating that guy; he was probably hired to kill me. It wasn't the first time this had happened, but he was too damn strong.
***
However, I had a plan. I turned my back on him and started running again. I went up the rest of the stairs. The advantage was that I knew the place very well. I knew where I was. I turned right when I reached the street. Then, I used an alternative passage through a construction area to get in a shopping mall that was already closed at that hour. Maybe I could hide there. And if I couldn't do that, I'd take him by surprise.
I went up all the deactivated escalators and got to the rooftop. I hided myself crouched near some plants, pulled out the gun, and reloaded it.

“Hey, seriously?” He arrived. "I wasn't even in the mood to come," he said. "And now you're just going to run away from me? Cut it out!"
"Is he mocking me?" I wondered.
I peeked through the leaves; his smirk was indeed annoying. Then, I stood up and took a few steps, showing myself to him. I wanted him to notice the anger in my eyes.
“Hehehe! Finally! I've been wanting to talk to you.”
“Who sent you? Who's trying to kill me this time?”
“Wow, you already know why I'm here?! You ruined the surprise.”
Ah, how annoying that smirk was!
I pointed the gun at him.
“I'll warn you just once,” I said.
“A gun?” He became serious. "You don't mean to use that? Do you?"
“Guess?” I asked.
I didn't wait for an answer; just fired. He was an easy target. Standing in front of me like that, there was no way I could miss.
"You're the type who shoots first and asks questions later," he raised the index and middle fingers of his hand, and the bullet fired at him slowed down and hovered in front of him. "I wouldn't expect any less from a Brazilian sorceress," he smiled.
“What the hell is this?” I asked.
He laughed.
That wouldn't work. I thought for a moment and made a quick decision. I kept him in my sights.
“What? Are you going to keep trying? So persistent,” he laughed again.
I fired five times until the gun was empty. The ammunition stopped one by one in front of him, and he remained in a relaxed, casual position. One hand in the pocket of his dark high-necked jacket, the other hand raised with the gesture.
The smirk disappeared for a minute, and he stared at what was in front of him.
“This ammunition is imbued with cursed energy. What would happen if it hit me?” He asked.
“Idiot!” I said firmly and snapped my fingers.
The explosion was so powerful that it threw me away. A significant part of the ground where he was collapsed to the lower floor, forming a crater. But I believed that, even though it was powerful, the explosion wouldn't destroy the structure of a strong and sturdy building like that.
I took a deep breath, then got up, looking at the fireball burning in front of me. I relaxed again and took another deep breath feeling that lump in my throat. Just couldn't bear crying anymore.
“Honestly?!” I said. "I didn't want it to end like this. I don't want to hurt anyone anymore!" My eyes welled up. Then I let the tears flow.
"Hey, cute one," it was his voice. “Why are you crying over there, huh?” he coughed. “Explosive ammo?” he laughed loudly. "What a little smartass!"
"What?"
The fire dissipated, and there was the blindfolded man. He was floating amidst the crater, still with one hand in his pocket and using the other to wave away the smoke around him. He was unharmed, as if nothing had happened.
“This can't be possible!” I shouted. "I exploded you!" "I just saw the pressure and the fire consuming you! How can you still be here?"
"What's the matter? Confused?" he laughed heartily. "Let me explain. You didn't actually hit me!"
"I did it! I'm sure I killed you! There's no way an explosion of that magnitude wouldn't blow you up!" I yelled.
“No. In fact, the explosion reached the infinity between me and you” he brought his thumb close to his index finger, demonstrating the space between them.
“What? What do you mean?”
“Well... Infinity is everywhere, my Jujutsu technique is to bring it into reality. The Mugen is like a convergence of infinity. The idea comes directly from the paradox of Achilles and the Tortoise. Do you know the paradox of Achilles and the Tortoise?”
I was left without knowing what to respond.
"Ah, who am I kidding?" he continued. "Of course, you don't know. Brazil is known for its terrible education system."
"Did he just insult my country's education system?" I thought.
"Maybe it's better if I show you."
He floated until his feet could touch the ground.
"Don't come any closer!" I shouted.
In an act of desperation, I turned my back and tried to run away from there. But as soon as I turned, he was already there. It was just two steps, and I slammed face-first into that invisible wall he said is surrounding him, and I was repelled, falling to the ground.
"Stay calm there, young lady. I said I'd show you, didn't I?"
He opened his hand in my direction and stretched out his long fingers.
"Touch here," he said in a funny voice.
"Is he messing with me?"
"Come on! Come on!" he insisted in a childish manner, waving his hand.
"He doesn't show any signs of intending to attack.” I thought. “Let's see what he wants."
I stood up and approached slowly. I raised my hand in front of his and attempted to touch it.
"Huh?!"
"See?" he said again, with a high-pitched voice, as if he were talking to a child.
The same thing that happened with the ammunition occurred. My hand stopped at a certain distance from his hand, and I couldn't go any further.
"It's not that your hand is not moving," he explained. "But the speed decreases more and more as you try to get closer. That's why it becomes impossible to reach me."
"Oh my god!" I exclaimed.
"But don't worry, we can intertwine our fingers like this."
His fingers fit into the gaps between my fingers, and he held my hand. I tried to pull it back, but it was as if my hand were glued to his, my fingers wouldn't even moving.
"What the hell?" I thought.
"Feeling shy, cutie?" he pulled me very close to him. Our faces were almost touching. "You are making me embarrassed too," he smiled.
I stared at that big smile with my wide eyes. He caught me so easily. I couldn't think of a way to escape from that man. That's when I felt a shiver down my spine. This sensation was different, it didn't come from him.

Then we noticed a dark smoke passing beneath us, skimming the streets, weaving through the buildings. On closer examination, it seemed like clouds filled with dark fragments that floated swiftly from different directions.
All the smoke converged at the crossroads of Xavier de Toledo Street, next to the Municipal Theater. The smoke piled up, coalescing into a single form that rapidly grew to over 30 meters in height. Its limbs and body took shape as the fragments compressed. Finally, its head formed, a bony skull adorned with a black feathered indigenous headdress. It was a colossal creature. An entity with a skeletal, mummified appearance.

We witnessed the formation of a historic creature on the American continent. Calamity! Little was known about it, except that it was present in tragic moments in various countries at distinct times. It was the kind of creature I would never face because I would die along with many other innocents in a battle that would end in a tragedy.
I couldn't believe this was happening. I looked at the blindfolded man. Suddenly, everything made sense. It was him! One of the powerful creatures didn't just appear out of nowhere; it was drawn to this monster that was firmly holding my hand. "Of course, monsters attract each other!"
After being completely formed, Calamity sighed, and a dark breath full of fragments came out of its mouth. It turned its flaming eyes in our direction, took a step, then another, destroying all the asphalt with its enormous feet. The building trembled as it walked. It was coming straight toward us, confirming the theory that this man was attracting it.
"I'm dead!" I thought.
But the confident smirk never left his lips.
"Don't worry! I'm the strongest one here!" he said.
Then I thought again. Perhaps that colossal creature would be my way out. Yes, because to face it, the darn man would have to let me go. It would be a unique opportunity to escape, or to die trying.
"Hey, don't get in the way!" he said seriously.
The man with the blindfolded eyes pointed the palm of his other hand toward the creature, and a dark sphere surrounded by red lights formed. The lights intensified, and the beams grew wider, illuminating the entire area. The creature took another step, and then he fired the sphere at the creature, practically without moving his arm. The sphere filled with incandescent beams of light flew swiftly, forming a red beam that pierced the creature, breaking most of its chest. The pressure pushed a rush of air upwards like a gust of wind. Many windows and other glass in the building shattered violently.
The creature staggered back and then dissipated, creating a cluster of cursed energy that fell violently and ran through the streets, forming a river that flooded Ramos de Azevedo Square for a moment.
"Calamity was... it was defeated!" I mumbled, incredulous.
I trembled, unable to believe that I had seen Calamity, one of the world's most feared creatures, get formed right before my eyes, and it was defeated by a single attack.
I stared at the man with blindfolded eyes. My lips quivered. Without releasing my hand, he pulled me closer and embraced me by the waist with a faint smile.

"Please, let me go?" I pleaded.
"Oh, but I can't. Not before we have a conversation."
"What are you going to do?" I asked.
He released my hand, then touched my forehead with two fingers.
"Relax!" he whispered.
Then, I blacked out.
